The Smart Scale uses Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy (BLE) to connect to Apple devices. However, Apple only started using this type of Bluetooth for devices from iPhone 4S and iPad 3 onwards.
This means that older devices are not compatible with the Smart Scale.
For all other devices, please check their Bluetooth capability with the manufacturer.
